Granada, Nicaragua...
Our last day in Granada was spent exploring the cities architecture, shops, and other attractions. We visited the Bell tower, where you climb a tiny very tall spiral staircase to see beautiful views of the city, the lake, and surrounding volcanoes. Since visiting Nicaragua, I am obsessed with banana and plantain chips and I may have eaten 2/3 bananas daily while there. It was always fun to buy little bags of them for less than a dollar on the street and I definitely stocked up before flying back to NYC. In Granada, we also had the best meal of the trip. We decided to go to a more upscale restaurant (recommended by our hotel) where I had the best Sea Bass and fish ceviche ever. All in all Nicaragua was amazing and I definitely plan on returning.
