For our last night in Nicaragua we stayed in the city of Granada, which is more inland away from the coast, but on the Lake Nicaragua. It was nice to leave the beach towns and experience something else. The highlight of Granada for me was the fact that they had a chocolate museum (I love chocolate, and I’m actually addicted) and the option to also visit the chocolate farm. Unfortunately, the farm visit is an entire day activity and that wasn’t really an option so I was pleasantly surprised when we got to the museum and they had a mini chocolate farm growing there. I could not be more stoked to see a real cacao fruit. After buying countless bars of chocolate and drinking cacao tea made from the shells of the fruit, I agreed to explore the rest of Granada
