Lazy Days…

After surfing in the morning we would often head to the beach with Fernanda’s cousins or head to the river for a swim or stand up paddle session. We stayed with Fernanda’s mom and all Fernanda’s cousins. At one point I think there were 14 of us staying in a one bedroom place. For those who do not surf, an air mattress is the choice of beach activity. I’ve never seen anyone “surf”  an air mattress in the ocean before since that would never fly in the US, but its highly entertaining and popular on the beach in Brazil. The river is definitely not has fun as the beach but I did enjoy jumping out of the trees with all the local kids!
